The hotel is in a good location but de restaurant is really a bad experience We don’t recommend to go there for the price that they charge We went to have dinner and the experience that we got was really bad in service and the food so terrible for the price they charge

My wife and I stayed here on the last night of our trip. We had to leave at 4 am to catch a flight but the staff was unbelievable. They made us coffee and breakfast to go. Location cannot be beat, pool and grounds were amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back.

This hotel ranks amongst the worst high end boutique hotels I have ever stayed in. The room was tiny — only 25 sq meters — with a run down bathroom and a ridiculously small double bed. The TV did not work, the so-called “shuttle service” from the parking lot consisted of a beaten-up Audi that was never available. The view from the room was beautiful, but that’s it. Terrible service and accommodations, not up to Relais & Chateaux standards.

La Sommita Relais is the most beautiful hotel perched on the top on the white town of Ostuni. The service received during our stay, the quality of the room and the food received were outstanding and we will 100% return. Thank you to Moreno and staff for everything.

We had an amazing lunch at Cielo, the restaurant at La Sommita. The food and service were outstanding and the ambiance extremely pleasant. Very high mark for hospitality. We had meals in other restaurants in Ostuni, like at Paragon 700, but none comes close to Cielo. I am looking forward to going back.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The photos don’t do the property justice.
The staff was absolutely amazing. My daughter and I stayed here in May 2024. We arrived in the early evening after driving all day. We didn’t want to have a real dinner so after talking to a manager, Salvatore, he arranged to have the chef prepare us “something” to enjoy on one of their terraces to enjoy the sunset! It couldn’t have been more perfect!
Everyone was wonderful, the servers, the front desk employees, their drivers. We decided upon arrival that we didn’t want to move our car from the parking lot to visit Lecce the following day so the hotel arranged a driver for us. It was perfect!
The room was beautiful, large and had a steam shower with a waterfall!
We highly recommend this hotel!!

Our room was very loud (number 15), so if you get given that room change immediately as you will not get much sleep in there are people in the restaurant. The pool was quite dirty, the amenities were old fashioned, no coffee machine in the room which I would expect at a 5 star hotel. The service was good at breakfast and the breakfast was nice. Overall I would not stay again as I don’t think it’s worth the money at all.

We loved our 2 days at Sommita in Ostuni. It’s a beautiful hotel and everyone wanting to make your stay as good as possible. Beautiful terrace to sit out and have breakfast and small pool with sunloungers to relax. Breakfast was fantastic - we loved it. We had room on ground floor which was beautiful but no window - it did get hot at night and AC did not work. Luckily this was in April so we coped but summer months could be an issue. We would definitely recommend this hotel and during our 6 week tour of Europe it’s right up there in our favourites.
